What is naqshi home décor?

Naqshi is a traditional lacquer craft from Sillanwali, Pakistan. Coloured lac is layered onto wood and the pattern is scratched back by hand so the colours underneath show as fine lines. The tables, lamps, clocks, vases and plates in this collection are finished this way, or carved by hand.

What can I buy in the Home Décor collection?

Nesting table sets, pedestal and side tables, lacquer table lamps, wall clocks, surahi sets, vases and jars, and decorative plates on stands — grouped into sections on the collection page.

Is every piece handmade?

Yes. Each piece is turned, carved or lacquered by hand in our own workshop in Sillanwali, so the grain, carving depth and colour vary a little from the photographs.

Can I order a different size or colour?

Yes, as a custom order. Share the size, colour or design you want on the Custom Orders page and the workshop quotes it before making it.

How do I look after lacquered wooden décor?

Dust it with a soft, dry cloth, keep it out of direct sunlight and away from water and heat, and avoid polish or chemical cleaners on the lacquer.

How much do pieces in Home Décor cost?

32 pieces, from PKR 1,450 to PKR 24,000. Every price is shown on the piece, every piece is ready to ship, and payment is cash on delivery anywhere in Pakistan.

How much is delivery, and how long does it take?

Standard shipping by Leopards — PKR 250, PKR 400 or PKR 700 depending on the size of the parcel — is added to your total and shown in your cart. The Wooden Foot Massager ships free. Orders arrive within 3 to 4 days anywhere in Pakistan.
