12 inch hot pot with a mosaic band and brass stars
The workshop's dressed-up 12 inch hot pot: the body is built from alternating blocks of dark sheesham and pale wood so the waist reads as a mosaic band, with small brass stars set into the joins. The lid is domed and turned in one piece. It is the one that goes out for weddings and gifting, and it holds heat exactly like the plain pot. Two designs at the same price — a chessboard band in dark and cream, and an amber-striped band with brass stars. Name your design at order time.

Every piece is made by hand, so the wood grain, carving and colour vary a little from the photo. That variation is normal and is what makes each one its own.
Price is for the piece as shown, before delivery. Payment is taken in advance by bank transfer before the workshop begins — there is no cash on delivery on the catalogue.

Care
- Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not soak, do not put in a dishwasher, and do not leave standing in water.
- Keep the piece out of direct sunlight and standing heat so the wood does not dry or fade.
- A light food-safe mineral oil once or twice a year keeps plain serving pieces from drying out.
- Small variations in grain, carving depth and colour are normal — each piece is finished by hand in Sillanwali.
