Question 1

Is the calligraphy done by hand?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The lettering and borders are scratched back through layers of coloured lacquer by hand in our Sillanwali workshop, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Question 2

What are good Islamic gifts from this collection?

Accepted Answer

A calligraphy plate or an Asma-ul-Husna vase for a new home, a Quran box for Ramadan or after Hajj or Umrah, and Kalima jars for Eid. Every piece arrives ready to give.

Question 3

Can I get a verse, a dua or a name of my own?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as a custom order. Share the exact wording and the script on the Custom Orders page, and the workshop confirms the layout with you before it is lettered.

Question 4

How do I care for lacquered Islamic décor?

Accepted Answer

Dust it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water, polish or chemical cleaners on the lacquer, and keep it out of direct sunlight so the colours stay bright.

Question 5

How much do pieces in Islamic cost?

Accepted Answer

4 pieces, from PKR 3,000 to PKR 12,000. Every price is shown on the piece, every piece is ready to ship, and payment is cash on delivery anywhere in Pakistan.

Question 6

How much is delivery, and how long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Standard shipping by Leopards — PKR 250, PKR 400 or PKR 700 depending on the size of the parcel — is added to your total and shown in your cart. The Wooden Foot Massager ships free. Orders arrive within 3 to 4 days anywhere in Pakistan.
