Asma-ul-Husna 99 Names Vases (Pair) — A pair of lidded vases carrying the 99 names of Allah. Made by hand from sheesham (rosewood) and coloured lac and brass and painted by hand, in the Sillanwali Handicrafts workshop in Sillanwali, Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan. It costs PKR 12,000 for the pair — two matching pieces. It is ready to ship and delivered within 3 to 4 days anywhere in Pakistan, paid in cash on delivery.

A pair of large lidded vases carrying the Asma-ul-Husna — the ninety-nine names of Allah — worked in gold around the body, with Allah written at the centre of the front face inside its own medallion. Each vase is turned from sheesham on the khraad, finished in coloured lac, and then lettered by hand in gold. The calligraphy is drawn rather than transferred, so the letterforms sit slightly differently on every vase and no two pairs read exactly alike. The lid lifts off by a turned finial and the body stands on its own turned foot. Made in green and in red. They are sold as a pair because they are worked in the same run — that is the only way the depth of colour and the weight of the lettering actually match across the two. Bought separately at different times, they will not. These are display pieces rather than containers. They sit either side of a console table, on a mantelpiece, or flanking a prayer corner, and the scale is meant to be read across a room rather than examined up close. Made in Sillanwali, Sargodha. Dust with a soft dry cloth and keep them out of direct sunlight so the lac and the gold stay true — water and polish sprays lift both. A name, a date or an ayat can be added on request, which makes the pair a common nikkah, Eid and housewarming gift.

Every piece is made by hand, so the wood grain, carving and colour vary a little from the photo. That variation is normal and is what makes each one its own.
