A round plate carved by hand across the face, made to lean on a shelf or hang on a wall rather than to serve from. The carving is cut freehand, so the pattern shifts slightly between pieces. Sold in graduated sets of three.

Every piece is made by hand, so the wood grain, carving and colour vary a little from the photo. That variation is normal and is what makes each one its own.

Care

  • Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not soak, do not put in a dishwasher, and do not leave standing in water.
  • Keep the piece out of direct sunlight and standing heat so the wood does not dry or fade.
  • A light food-safe mineral oil once or twice a year keeps plain serving pieces from drying out.
  • Small variations in grain, carving depth and colour are normal — each piece is finished by hand in Sillanwali.
