About this piece
A turned, lidded jar in warm amber lac with a landscape painted around the body — a tree, a slope, an open sky. Good for dry fruit or sweets on the table, or for nothing at all. Three heights.
Every piece is made by hand, so the wood grain, carving and colour vary a little from the photo. That variation is normal and is what makes each one its own.

Care
- Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not soak, do not put in a dishwasher, and do not leave standing in water.
- Keep painted and lacquered surfaces out of direct sun and away from heat so the colours stay true.
- A light food-safe mineral oil once or twice a year keeps plain serving pieces from drying out.
- Small variations in grain, carving depth and colour are normal — each piece is finished by hand in Sillanwali.
