Tiered Wooden Fruit Basket — A single fixed three-tier basket on a turned foot. Made by hand from sheesham (rosewood) and carved by hand, in the Sillanwali Handicrafts workshop in Sillanwali, Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan. It measures Approx. 13 in across, 9 in tall. It costs PKR 3,000. It is ready to ship and delivered within 3 to 4 days anywhere in Pakistan, paid in cash on delivery.
One basket, not a set. Three fixed tiers of carved sheesham slats rise from a turned pedestal foot and open outward like a flower in bloom, each rim threaded with small pale wooden beads. Because the tiers are joined rather than stacked, it does not fold or nest — it stands as one piece. That is the point of it: a fixed frame is steadier under a full load than a stack of loose tiers, it lifts cleanly by the pedestal without the upper levels shifting, and there is nothing to reassemble in the right order after it has been cleaned. The slats are cut and carved individually and set into the rims, and the beads are turned separately and threaded on by hand, which is what softens the line of each tier rather than leaving it a plain hoop. The open slats are doing real work. Air moves right through the basket, so bananas, apples and citrus last noticeably longer than they do sitting in a closed bowl where moisture collects underneath and the bottom layer spoils first. Three tiers also let you separate what ripens fast from what does not. Roughly thirteen inches across and nine inches tall — it holds a week of fruit for a family without crowding, and it earns its place on a dining table or a kitchen counter rather than being put away. Made in Sillanwali, Sargodha, and carved individually, so grain, carving and colour tone vary between baskets. Dust with a soft dry cloth and a dry brush between the slats; wipe spills away rather than letting them stand, and keep water, polish sprays and chemical cleaners off the wood. A name or a date can be engraved on the pedestal foot.
Every piece is made by hand, so the wood grain, carving and colour vary a little from the photo. That variation is normal and is what makes each one its own.

Care
- Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not soak, do not put in a dishwasher, and do not leave standing in water.
- Keep the piece out of direct sunlight and standing heat so the wood does not dry or fade.
- A light food-safe mineral oil once or twice a year keeps plain serving pieces from drying out.
- Small variations in grain, carving depth and colour are normal — each piece is finished by hand in Sillanwali.
