Hand-Carved Wooden Tea Set — Pot and Six Cups: A carved teapot with six matching cups, for display. Made by hand from sheesham (rosewood) and carved by hand, in the Sillanwali Handicrafts workshop in Sillanwali, Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan. It measures about 8 in tall pot with six cups. It costs PKR 4,750 for the whole set. It is ready to ship and delivered within 3 to 4 days anywhere in Pakistan, paid in cash on delivery.

A teapot shaped from solid sheesham with a carved body, a lid with a turned finial, a full handle and a shaped spout, together with six cups carved to match, each with its own handle. The carving runs round the belly of the pot and round every cup, cut by hand in a leaf-and-vine pattern. The pot is hollowed and shaped from one block rather than built from parts, and the carving is cut freehand with chisel and gouge afterwards, which is why the vine changes as it goes round and why no two cups are identical. Everything is left in a natural polish, so the sheesham grain runs under the carving. It is a display set: a drawing-room shelf, a glass cabinet, a console or a shop counter, and a wedding or house-opening gift where something has to look like an occasion. Seven pieces together make a strong group on a tray. Made in Sillanwali, Sargodha, and carved individually. Dust with a soft dry cloth and a dry brush into the carving, keep water and polish sprays off the wood, and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Every piece is made by hand, so the wood grain, carving and colour vary a little from the photo. That variation is normal and is what makes each one its own.
