Wooden Storage Box Set with Tray — 6 Boxes, Acrylic Lids: six lidded sheesham boxes in a matching tray, for spices and dry fruit. Made by hand from sheesham (rosewood) and acrylic and plainly polished, in the Sillanwali Handicrafts workshop in Sillanwali, Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan. It measures about 3 in square boxes in a tray about 10 × 7 in. It costs from PKR 1,450 to PKR 2,750 depending on the size chosen. It is ready to ship and delivered within 3 to 4 days anywhere in Pakistan, paid in cash on delivery.

Six square boxes cut from solid sheesham, each with a clear acrylic lid and a small dark turned knob, sitting together in a tray made for them. The lids are clear on purpose: you can see what is in every box without lifting one, which is the difference between a spice set that gets used and one that sits at the back of a cupboard. The boxes lift out one at a time and go back into the tray in any order. Because they are cut from solid wood rather than pressed board, the grain runs through the walls and the corners hold; each acrylic lid sits in a rebate cut into the top of its box, so it drops in flush instead of perching on the rim. It is made for a kitchen counter or a dining table — whole spices and masalas, dry fruit, saunf and elaichi after a meal, or sweets when people come. The tray carries the whole set in one hand. Made in Sillanwali, Sargodha, and worked individually, so grain and colour vary between boxes. Wipe the wood with a damp cloth and dry it straight away, keep it out of standing water, and wash the acrylic lids by hand in cool water. Not for the dishwasher or the microwave.

Every piece is made by hand, so the wood grain, carving and colour vary a little from the photo. That variation is normal and is what makes each one its own.
