The Sillanwali Handicrafts 10-Slot Naqshi Watch Box is a handmade watch organizer in solid sheesham wood, finished in black lacquer with gold naqshi work hand-scratched in Sillanwali, Sargodha, Pakistan. It holds ten watches on removable red velvet pillows under a glass window lid, closes with a brass clasp and measures 8 × 13 inches. A watch organizer that is a piece worth displaying in its own right. This 10-slot box is made from solid sheesham and finished in black lac with gold naqshi — a dotted gold rim and floral corner motifs framing the lid, and a scrolling vine band running around the sides, all scratched back by hand in our Sillanwali workshop. The glass window lid keeps all ten watches in view and free of dust. Inside, ten removable red velvet pillows hold each watch by its strap or bracelet; lift one out to make room for a larger watch or a wide metal bracelet. A brass clasp keeps the lid closed. It measures 8 × 13 inches, a size that sits comfortably on a dresser, a bedside table or a shelf. Care
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, chemical cleaners and polish sprays.
- Keep painted and lacquered surfaces out of direct sun and away from heat so the colours stay true.
- Handle glass lids and inserts carefully; they are not tempered for impact.
- Small variations in grain, carving depth and colour are normal — each piece is finished by hand in Sillanwali.
