Locomotive and cargo wagon from solid sheesham
A steam locomotive with a detachable cargo wagon, both turned and assembled from solid sheesham. The boiler cylinder, chimney stack, steam dome, cowcatcher and cab are worked as individual pieces and fitted to the base. The wagon has open sides and follows on a shared beam. At around 18 inches long with the wagon attached, it is a statement piece for a shelf and one of the most detailed models in the workshop.

Every piece is made by hand, so the wood grain, carving and colour vary a little from the photo. That variation is normal and is what makes each one its own.

Care
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, chemical cleaners and polish sprays.
- Keep the piece out of direct sunlight and standing heat so the wood does not dry or fade.
- Small variations in grain, carving depth and colour are normal — each piece is finished by hand in Sillanwali.
