Decorative replica of a traditional spinning wheel
A hand-carved replica of the charkha, the traditional South Asian spinning wheel used for centuries to spin cotton into yarn. Every part — the wheel, the spindle frame and the base — is turned and assembled individually from solid sheesham. It is a display piece, not a functional spinner, and sits well on a shelf, desk or mantelpiece. The charkha became a symbol of self-reliance across South Asia; this version is a piece of that craft history in miniature.

Every piece is made by hand, so the wood grain, carving and colour vary a little from the photo. That variation is normal and is what makes each one its own.

Care
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, chemical cleaners and polish sprays.
- Keep the piece out of direct sunlight and standing heat so the wood does not dry or fade.
- Small variations in grain, carving depth and colour are normal — each piece is finished by hand in Sillanwali.
