To order wedding or event favours in bulk, send the workshop five things: how many pieces you need, the date you need them by, which piece or pieces you want, any name or date to engrave, and how each one should be packed. With those answers we can confirm a making date and a quote, and your favours arrive ready to hand out.
How many pieces count as a bulk order?
Our bulk orders start at 20 pieces. Mixed items are fine as long as the total reaches 20, so you could pair small boxes for one side of the family with plates for the other. For a smaller number, the Custom Orders page is the better route.
Count your guest list first, then add a few spare pieces for late additions and for anything you want to keep for the family. Tell us the final number in your first message, even if it may change slightly.
How far ahead should you order?
Lead time is two to four weeks depending on quantity and finish, and we confirm a date before starting. Wedding dates do not move, so build in time for the design to be approved and for delivery after making. If your event is close, say so in your first message and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

Which pieces work as favours?
Good favours are small, useful and easy to carry home. These are the kinds of pieces people ask us for most often for weddings, nikkahs and events:
- Small jewellery and keepsake boxes, plain sheesham, carved or in naqshi lacquer.
- Naqshi powder boxes and other small lacquered boxes.
- Small decorative plates, which guests can display or use.
- Name plaques and anniversary pieces for the couple's close family.
- Event mementos for guests, hosts or speakers.
If you have a piece in mind that is not on the website, send a photo or sketch. If it is a handicraft in wood, the workshop can usually make it.
Can each favour carry the couple's names or the date?
Yes. We can engrave a name, the couple's names, a date or a logo on most items, in English, Urdu or Arabic. Send the exact wording and spelling in writing, and tell us which language and where on the piece it should go. The wording and design are confirmed with you before work begins, so check the spelling carefully at that stage.
How should the favours be packed?
We pack to your requirement. Tell us whether each piece should be packed individually, whether you want them ready to hand out on the day, and whether a few larger pieces for close family should be packed differently from the guest favours.
What should your first message include?
- Your name and WhatsApp number, and the city for delivery.
- The event and its date.
- The pieces you want, with a photo if you have one, and the quantity of each.
- Colours or finish: naqshi lacquer, hand carving, hand painting or plain polished sheesham.
- Any engraving: exact wording, language and placement.
- How you want them packed.
